Know what’s flying near you.
Most drones broadcast Remote ID — position, altitude and the pilot’s location — over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. LittleSpec listens with its onboard Wi-Fi chip and plots them just like aircraft.
A pocket device for exploring the RF spectrum. The air around you is full of signals - listen in.
LittleSpec listens with its own antennas. No internet feeds, no dongles, no desktop software — whatever is transmitting nearby, it picks the signal up directly, works out what it is, and shows you. Aircraft and boats on a map, drones and their pilots, key fobs, sensors and radio stations on a live spectrum.
Signal analyser
A live spectrum of everything transmitting around you, from 5 MHz to 1.7 GHz. Peaks rise as devices key up — tune in, zoom, and listen to supported broadcasts.
Plane spotter
A dedicated internal 1090 MHz antenna picks up ADS-B broadcasts straight from aircraft overhead and plots them on a map — callsign, altitude, heading and speed.
Hears Remote ID at 2.4 GHz and shows nearby drones on the map — along with where their pilots are standing.
Picks up AIS from vessels on 162 MHz and plots them live, with names, headings and speeds.
Sweep a band, stop on activity and listen in — airband, marine VHF, PMR, ham repeaters and FM radio.
Antennas
Everything LittleSpec shows you comes in over the air, through its own antennas. Inside, one tuned for 1090 MHz ADS-B aircraft tracking — which also picks up strong nearby signals like FM radio. On top, the included wideband extendable antenna on a standard SMA connector for everything else. LittleSpec switches between them automatically.

Everything here is a real thing LittleSpec hears, from drones at 2.4 GHz down to FM radio at 88 — straight off the air, through its own antennas.

Aircraft constantly broadcast their position, identity, altitude and speed. The internal 1090 MHz antenna receives them directly — a live picture of the sky, no internet required.
Key fobs, doorbells, weather stations, tyre sensors — the busiest airspace in any home. LittleSpec catches their short coded bursts, identifies the device, and explains what it just said.
Near a coast, river or port? Ships report their name, position and speed over AIS — the maritime cousin of ADS-B. LittleSpec plots the vessels around you as they report in.
Hams have been talking across town — and across continents — for a century. Listen in on local repeaters, nets and calling channels, and watch band activity rise and fall through the day.
At the bottom of the dial, the classics: every FM station near you appears as a peak on the live spectrum. Tap one to tune in and listen through your phone.
LittleSpec matches every signal against what it knows — frequency, bandwidth, modulation, timing — and names it with a confidence level. Structured signals like ADS-B, AIS and Remote ID are decoded outright into aircraft, boats and drones on a map. RF expertise not required.
“Car key fob · 433.92 MHz · OOK burst. Short coded transmission, then silence — someone just locked their car nearby.”
LittleSpec pairs with your phone over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth — iPhone app first, with Android coming later. The app is where signals get names, aircraft get plotted, and neighbourhoods get heat-mapped.
